Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Investica (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Description of Service

Investica provides software-based access to market data, quantitative stock signals, fundamental analysis, and AI-powered conversational research tools. The Service is an information and research platform only. It does not provide brokerage, custody, or order-execution services.

3. Not Financial Advice

Nothing provided through the Service constitutes personalized investment advice, a recommendation to buy or sell any security, or a solicitation to engage in any investment strategy. All content — including signals, ratings, AI-generated responses, charts, backtests, and analytics — is for informational and educational purposes only. You are solely responsible for your investment decisions. Past performance is not indicative of future results. You should consult a licensed financial advisor before making any investment decision.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.

5. Account Registration

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@investica.ai if you suspect unauthorized access. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

6. Subscriptions, Billing, and Refunds

Paid subscriptions (Contrarian Pro, Megacap Pro, All-Access, and Day Pass) are billed through Stripe. Recurring subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. Day Pass purchases are one-time, non-recurring, and grant 24 hours of access from purchase. Refer to our Refund Policy for cancellation, refund, plan-change, and proration details.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or systematically extract data from the Service
• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the Service or its content
• Use the Service to violate any law, regulation, or third-party right
• Attempt to disrupt or compromise the Service's security or availability
• Share account credentials or use a single account for multiple individuals
• Submit content that is unlawful, defamatory, or infringes intellectual property

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, signals, models, copy, and visual design, is owned by Investica and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of content you submit (such as chat messages); by submitting it, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to use it to operate and improve the Service.

9. Public Chat Threads

Free-tier chats are visible to other users and listed anonymously in the public threads browser. Paid-tier chats are private by default. Do not include personally identifying information in chat messages if you are on a free plan.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, OR UNINTERRUPTED OPERATION. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE OR ANY SIGNALS, ANALYTICS, OR AI-GENERATED CONTENT WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, RELIABLE, OR PROFITABLE.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INVESTICA AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR INVESTMENT VALUE, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SERVICE. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Investica from any claims, losses, or damages arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party right.

13. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time via the Customer Portal or by emailing support. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including IP, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) shall survive.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Your Jurisdiction], without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute shall be resolved in the courts of [Your Jurisdiction].

15. Changes to These Terms
